two of my best friends own a titan and they are both looking for a new truck. I agree with LJZTT and also feel by what my friends have told me that Nissan really skimped out on some crucial parts. So far friend #1 has had to replace his blown front DIff and Rear Diff due to offroading (not extreme by any means). Friend #2 has replaced his front diff twice due to offroading (also nothing extreme) replaced His radiator(common Titan issue if im not mistaken) and to top it off last weekend we were getting ready to take a trip to Rocky Point. He was doing some last minute shopping and suddenly tons of smoke just started coming out from underneath the driver's side dashboard. He pulled over turned off the truck and after restarting it, the lights, locks, power windows, speedo, and who knows what else didn't work. Common problems or not this is enough for me to convince me not to purchase one. No complaints from either of them about the 5.6L VK56DE so far though, runs and sounds awesome (both owners since 2008-2009). Im a Nissan fan all the way but I agree with Genic and Dpjax. If I was looking to purchase a truck I would go with a 5.7L Tundra. My Friends are leaning towards Chevy Duramax.
